Little Venice Canalway Cavalcade

Every year at the first May Bank Holiday weekend there is a narrowboat festival at London’s Little Venice. Many of the boats are beautifully decorated with buntings, flowerpots and other Golden Jubilee themed items. You can buy homemade fudge, cheese, garden herbs and many other goods from the market stalls, get more information from waterways and conservation charities or chat to the boat owners. Some narrowboats are moored at Little Venice all year but this weekend is always a particularly colourful affair.

  1. It was a very good event and the first time we have taken our widebeam ‘Mollie’ (second picture down from the top)

    • Glad you found the picture of ‘Mollie’! We may have waved at you when you went under the bridge the picture was taken from :-)
